What We Collect
- Your name or nickname, if you choose to provide one
- Your study plans, progress, study subject, and exam dates
- Your conversation history and generated summaries, so Wyspe can remember your study arc
- If you report a Wisp response, the selected response, your chosen reason, an optional note, report timestamps, and internal account and message identifiers used to process the report
- Your timezone and notification preferences, so Wyspe can time check-ins appropriately
- Device tokens for push notifications
- Campaign source, device platform, and store destination when you open a promotional link
- Limited operational logs needed to run and secure the service
How We Use It
- To provide the Wyspe study support service
- To send you proactive check-ins and notifications
- To maintain continuity across conversations
- To improve the app based on usage patterns and tester feedback
- To detect safety-related language and show crisis resources instead of normal coaching when needed
- To investigate responses you choose to report and improve safety, content filtering, and moderation
What We Don't Do
- We don't sell your data
- We don't share your information with advertisers
- We don't use your data for purposes unrelated to Wyspe
- We don't monitor your other apps or screen activity
Service Providers
- Anthropic (Claude AI) processes your messages to generate Wisp's replies. Under Anthropic's standard commercial API policy, inputs and outputs are generally deleted within 30 days, with limited safety and legal exceptions
- Firebase (Google) processes an anonymous user ID and device token for authentication and push notifications
- Amazon Web Services stores and processes app data for Wyspe
- Netlify processes website support forms and promotional-link measurements
We use these companies as service providers, not advertisers.
Data Storage
- App data is stored securely on AWS servers in the United States
- Response reports, including their internal account and message identifiers, are stored in a separate encrypted AWS database and scheduled for automatic deletion after 180 days. AWS may take a few additional days to remove an expired record. Reports are deleted immediately if you delete your account
- Human-review alerts contain only a random report ID and report reason, not your account ID, response text, or note
- After account deletion, Wyspe retains indefinitely a one-way cryptographic marker derived from the anonymous account ID. It contains no account ID, profile, conversation, response report, timestamp, or device information and is used only to prevent the deleted account from recreating data
- Website support forms and promotional-link measurements are processed by our website hosting provider, Netlify
- Data is encrypted in transit
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@wyspe.com
